A KATRINA MOMENT

Survival in New Orleans

A Note From the Author

The past two years I have spent researching the events of Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath.  This book is the result.  This story is not about prejudice against any one class or race.  It is about global prejudice which may be elicited against any person for any reason, whether it is because of a handicap, ethnic background, race, age, gender or sexual preference.  This type of prejudice hates a person for something they cannot change.

New Orleans has a unique culture defined by its diversity. It will rebuild.  My fervent prayer is that prejudice will not be involved.
